Overview:
We’re seeking experienced, licensed clinicians (NP, PA, or MD) with multi-state prescribing privileges to provide clinical reviews and authorizations for mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mHBOT — 1.1 to 2.0 ATA) devices sold to clinics and individuals.
You will review intake forms, perform telehealth consults where applicable, and provide medical clearance or prescriptions per company protocols as part of our national clinician network.
Please note: clinicians are paid directly by the individual or clinic — Hyperbaric Health only facilitates the connection and provides the intake tools and documentation required for prescribing. We offer this as a value-added service to follow safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Review online health intake forms and documentation submitted by prospective owners/patients.
Provide telehealth screening/consultations via phone or video.
Issue digital clearance forms or prescriptions for mHBOT where clinically appropriate and in compliance with state and federal laws.
Provide and maintain an active prescriber phone/verification number.
Be familiar with absolute & relative contraindications for HBOT and be able to recommend safe protocols and treatment parameters for routine indications. (We provide intake forms and clinical resources.)
Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and clinical records (HIPAA-compliant software is provided by Hyperbaric Health).
Participate in occasional case review or training calls/video training with Hyperbaric Health staff.
Provide availability slots (days and times) for review/consults and update as schedules change.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted NP/PA/MD license(s).
Multi-state licensure, DEA, and telehealth prescribing privileges highly preferred.
Provide license & DEA numbers for verification.
Clinical experience with oxygen therapies, wound care, integrative medicine, or primary care preferred. Knowledge of HBOT is a plus — we provide training materials.
Strong documentation skills and familiarity with telehealth workflows.
Ability to work independently and respond within expected turn-around times for reviews.
Compensation:
Paid per completed review/consult/prescription.
Ongoing collaboration opportunities as volume grows.
Position is contractor-based. Providers are responsible for their taxes, licensure fees, and any malpractice insurance needed.
